Chris Fowlie and Luke Robinson head a team of qualified, licenced builders & apprentices who have worked together for over 10 years.
Apex Construction will project manage the whole job from start to finish making it as stress free as possible. We have a team of reliable and professional subcontractors who work with us to get the best results.
What makes us different from the rest? As building can be a stressful undertaking Chris and Luke will not only help you through the process from concept stage to final handover. They are also onsite daily with a hands-on approach to ensure your project runs as efficiently as possible.
Our Team
LUKE ROBINSON - DIRECTOR
Luke is a qualified licensed building practitioner who has been in the industry since 2004. Prior to entering the building industry he gained a Bachelor of Electronic Commerce then decided to give building a go. He completed his apprenticeship with Robinson Builders in the early 2000’s, then traveled to the UK gaining experience in commercial building and renovations. He then returned to Hamilton and started Apex Construction with Chris.
CHRIS FOWLIE - Director
Chris has been a qualified builder for over 15 years, previous to this he was a qualified boat builder. Chris has a great eye for detail and loves a challenge which has lead him to being an expert in renovations & developing a wide range in skills working with a multitude of different types of construction methods. He loves developing relationships with clients and is always great to bounce ideas off. Chris understands that clients lead busy lives so strives to put them at ease, with good communication so they feel confident stepping back and letting him and his team take the reins. Making the process as stress free as possible.
RION WALKER - Foreman
Rion is coming up 10 years with Apex, starting as our second apprentice and working his way towards becoming a fully qualified builder & Foreman. Rion has shown a real passion for shop fitouts and is our leading foreman in this area.
CALEB BUCKINGHAM - Apprentice
Caleb aka Buckie joined our crew 3 years ago and came from a fencing and aeroplane maintenance background. He enjoys being engaged in big projects and being rewarded with the final product. Loves Snowboarding, smoko & 4 o'clock knock off!
GEORGE GANN - Apprentice
George has been with Apex for 6 years, joining us fresh out of school. He has now completed his trade qualification and enjoys working on shop fitouts. He also loves his snowboarding and Gym sessions.
JAGAN IHIMAERA - Apprentice
Jay joined Apex construction to start his apprenticeship almost 3 years ago now. He has incredible attention to detail which is shown in the quality work he produces. He enjoys working on new builds and the accomplishment of seeing a project to completion.
