Apex were bought in to help transform this 1938 house into a modern family home. The owners had a very clear vision on what they wanted to achieve and also played a hand in the renovation with the construction of a kids cubby in the roof space, inbuilt shelving and ALOT of painting!

This renovation consisted of a full interior refresh throughout, extension and the addition of extensive decking which has created a beautiful family home with great indoor/outdoor flow. To achieve this we repurposed areas and extended the home to allow for better living flow, light filled spaces and all opening onto a wrap around deck with louvers for plenty of outdoor entertaining!

To create the connection between old and new the owner found recycled timber flooring that matched the same narrow width previously used and we replicated the 30/40’s era scotia throughout so there was a seamless flow. Perfect inner city living for this family of 3.
